OF RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, on the evening of May 20th, Marvin Moone was visiting Glendale, Arizona from
Las Vegas, NV; and
WHEREAS, he heard the gunshots of Active Shooter and was one of the first on scene to
console an innocent victim of a senseless act of evil; and
WHEREAS, Marvin Moone’s actions prevented a shooting victim from going into shock; and
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jerry P. Weiers, Mayor of the city of Glendale, Arizona, on behalf of
the City Council, do hereby recognize
Marvin Moone
for exemplary behavior, decisive action and calm bravery that saved a life on May 20th
