OF RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Larry Santor, proudly served in The United States Air Force; and
WHEREAS, Larry Santor proudly became a Glendale resident in 1977; and
WHEREAS, throughout his 42-year career with the Defense Contract Management Agency
Larry has been committed to being a leader with a “can do” team player attitude, great sense
of humor and invaluable mentor to anyone around him; and
WHEREAS, Larry has managed over 350 military and civilian personnel across 28 facilities
in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas; and
WHEREAS, Larry continues to make a difference in his community by volunteering with the
Glendale Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale’s motto is “We Improve the Lives of the People We Serve
Everyday” and Larry embodies this in all he accomplishes.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jerry P. Weiers, Mayor of the city of Glendale, Arizona, on behalf of
the City Council, do hereby recognize
Larry Santor
as you enter your retirement this July 18, 2019, I invite all citizens of Glendale and beyond to
reflect upon and honor the lifetime achievements of Larry Santor and the impact he has left
upon those around him.
