CITY OF GLENDALE
WHEREAS, Kenya’s Bishop Washington O. Ngede is traveling throughout the
United States demonstrating freedom in action; and
WHEREAS, Bishop Ngede holds three prestigious titles in his country as Bishop,
Counselor to the President of Kenya and Secretary for Evangelical Ministry; and
WHEREAS, Kenya ac Country of 22 million, is a good friend and close ally to the
United States and is the largest true Republic in Africa.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Jerry P. Weiers, Mayor of the City of Glendale, Arizona,
on behalf of the City Council do hereby proclaim Wednesday, February 13, 2019
as:
BISHOP WASHINGTON O. NGEDE DAY
in the City of Glendale and ask all our citizens to join with me in recognizing and
appreciate the good friends and allies we have in Kenya, Africa.
