Includes verification that location and length of smoke testing probe meets manufacturer's recommendations. 2. Each Duct Smoke Detector was tested with canned chemical smoke,Smoke Detector Tester,Model No.25 S,to assure unit shutdown. Includes verification that any manufacture's fan shutdown delay for economizer operation has been bypassed for immediate shutdown by signal from detection device. • 3. Each detection device within the smoke zone was tested separately with verification that each AC unit blower within that smoke zone shuts down upon initiation of the device. The system was then reset and tested for each device within the smoke zone. 4. Fire alarm system per LMC Section 606.4.1. Exception 2.without fire alarm system see Audible and Visual alarm columns. 5. TAB Technology states the readings are accurate at the time of testing. -a 6.6. TAB Technology recommends that the smoke detectors are maintained per manufactures recommendations and are tested every six months N Aug 07 06 06: 50p p. 1 ASSOCIATED MECIIANICAL ENGINEERS, PLC. 1505 West University, Ste. 101 Tempe, Arizona 85281 CONSULTING ENGINEERS MECHANICAL ♦ PLUMBING FACSIMILE TRANSMITTAL This facsimile and all the contents herein are the sole property of Associated Mechanical Engineers and are intended for the recipient named above. if you have mistakenly received this facsimile or are unable to deliver the material to the intended recipient please contact our offices immediately 480.966.3996. Aluminum pipe is also an acceptable material. Per Kent Conrad's(G.E.) input, only the portions of cryogen vent within the MRI room need to be insulated with 1-1/2"Armaflcx, and is therefore acceptable to us. In regards to the 02 sensor: Kent Conrad (G.E.) again has regarded this as an item that is not required. Per his recommendations,we are allowing the omittance of this item.
