• No special engineering or plans required if rebuilt as it was before.
u Truss Engineers report for 4 cut trusses to be supplied to Field Inspector.
❑ Rewire Apartment to 2002 NEC. Install new water bond clamp. Evaluate Electric
Service for compliance compatibility for Arc Fault circuit breakers. If not compatible, a
new Service may need to be installed.
• New under counter water heater to be installed.
• Reroute dryer vent with 4" duct line.
J Install smoke detectors per IRC requirements for location, hard wired with battery
backup and interconnected. A detector at each level of house required, as well as in
each bedroom and hallway centrally located to sleeping rooms.
❑ Replace plumbing fixtures.
❑ Install 1/2 drywall under stairs. Replace drywall thru out per IRC.
❑ No structural damage noted.
❑ If under stairs area is continued to be open with access from kitchen, the enclosed
accessible space under stairs shall have minimum 1/2 " gypsum board installed. Per
IRC R311.2.2
Note: The following Codes are in effect for this rebuild: 2003 IRC; 2003 IMC; 2002 NEC;
1994 UPC; All with City and State Amendments as Adopted by the City of Glendale.
Any item not specifically addressed above shall be enforced to these codes.
