29. ORDINANCE NO. 023-01
AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLENDALE, MARICOPA COUNTY,
ARIZONA, AMENDING THE GLENDALE CITY CODE, CHAPTER 25 (NUISANCES), BY
ADDING ARTICLE X (NUISANCE PARTIES AND UNLAWFUL GATHERINGS).

Ms. Bower read the ordinance by title.
Mr. Stoddard said Council adopted the ordinance on May 10, 2022, but notice of the fees and
fines had not been posted prior to adoption as required by State law and the ordinance could
not be codified. The fines and fees had been posted for the required time period and the
ordinance could now be codified and enforced.

Ms. Bower read the item by title.
Mr. Stoddard said the Charter and Council Guidelines required Council to designate a Vice
Mayor from among its members at its first meeting in January for a 1-year term.
A motion was made by Vice Mayor Jamie Aldama, seconded by Councilmember Bart
Turner to select Councilmember Clark as Vice Mayor.
