CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Weiers called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
POSTING OF COLORS
The Colors were posted by the Luke Air Force Base Honor Guard.
NATIONAL ANTHEM
The National Anthem was performed by Ashlyn Rueshhoff.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
PRAYER/INVOCATION
The invocation was offered by Glendale Police Chaplain Amy Fraser.
WELCOME
Mayor Weiers provided welcoming remarks for the installation of Councilmembers-elect Aldama,
Tolmachoff and Turner.
OATH OF OFFICE
1. The Oath of Office was administered to Councilmember-elect Jamie Aldama, Ocotillo District, by
the Honorable Manuel Delgado, Judge, Glendale City Court.
Vice Mayor Aldama thanked his wife and family for their support. He expressed his gratitude to
his constituents in the Ocotillo District. He appreciated Council for giving him the honor to
serve as Vice Mayor over the past year. He thanked City staff, Public Safety employees and
business owners for the role each had played in the City's many accomplishments. He looked
forward to serving with Council.
2. The Oath of Office was administered to Councilmember-elect Lauren Tolmachoff, Cholla District,
by the Honorable Nicholas C. DiPiazza, Presiding Judge, Glendale City Court.
Councilmember Tolmachoff said it was incredible that she was starting her third term. She was
grateful for the opportunity to serve. She thanked City residents for their support and input and
her Council colleagues. She was proud that the City was able to provide service to the community
during the pandemic. The City was making progress, but there was still a lot to do.
3. The Oath of Office was administered to Councilmember-elect Bart Turner, Barrel District, by the
Honorable Nicholas C. DiPiazza, Presiding Judge, Glendale City Court.
Councilmember Turner thanked the Judges, the City Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk, and City
Department Heads and expressed appreciation for the support of his friends. He said that
together, Council made it work. He carried with him his father's bible and a copy of the U.S.
Constitution. He said defending the Constitution required service by everyone.

Mayor Weiers adjourned the meeting at 7:32 p.m.
