1. CALL TO ORDER THE LOCAL FIRE BOARD
Chair Charles Erickson called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.

4. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
The Board voted to approve the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System - Local Fire
Board Minutes of February 24, 2021

5. NEW BUSINESS
A. Board Secretary Jim Brown read the pertinent information from the application and the Board
reviewed the Application for Retirement from the Deferred Retirement Option Plan
(D.R.O.P.) submitted by Dennis Dorrance, Fire Fighter. Dennis Dorrance has elected to
retire from the D.R.O.P. and will terminate his employment with the City of Glendale Fire
Department on April 29, 2021. On April 27, 2016, the Local Fire Board had approved his
Application for Enrollment into the D.R.O.P. and he had elected to participate on April 30,
2016. At that time, he had completed 21.822 years of credited service. He was required to
terminate employment with the City of Glendale Fire Department on or before April 30, 2021.
Dennis Dorrance is eligible to retire from the D.R.O.P. and to receive a Lump Sum
distribution.
The Board voted to approve the application.

B. Mr. Brown read the pertinent information and the Board reviewed the Application for
Enrollment into the Deferred Retirement Option Plan (D.R.O.P.) submitted by Shawn Coder,
Fire Fighter. Shawn Coder has 20.012 years of credited service. She elected to participate
in the D.R.O.P. on April 4, 2021 and must terminate employment with the City of Glendale
Fire Department on or before April 30, 2026.
The Board voted to approve the application.

C. Mr. Brown read the pertinent information and the Board reviewed the Application for

Tutrone, Fire Captain. Robert Tutrone has 26.089 years of credited service. He elected to
participate in the D.R.O.P. on March 29, 2021 and must terminate employment with the City
of Glendale Fire Department on or before March 31, 2026.
The Board voted to approve the application.

W. Glendale Ave., Glendale, Arizona, 85301.
