Ms. Bethel updated the Board on the upcoming appointment of 4 new Board Members joining the Board before the next Board meeting. She continued with the anticipated timeline of what to expect in the coming year. She stated that the next reappointment for the Board to consider will be City Judge John Burkholder whose term expires October 31, 2020. The Board would typically meet in August or September of 2020 for that reappointment process; however, the JSAB by-laws require an annual business meeting. She stated that would also allow the Board the opportunity to nominate and vote on a new Chair and Vice -Chair since those terms are for one year. She stated that the memo to Mayor and Council is from Chair Beresky indicating that the new Chair at that time of the Council meeting will be Chair Whitehead. If Chair Whitehead is unavailable, Vice -Chair typically attends in his place. Ms. Bethel said that the only item she had is for an upcoming agenda item for the Board to consider adding would be a review of the Open Meeting Law if the Board wishes since there will be new Board members at that time. 16.
