was discussed that Councilmember Martinez will ask the other Councilmembers during
executive session today to appoint someone to replace him. During the next GSC
meeting, which is scheduled for June 17th, the committee will vote on a new Chairperson.
Kristen advised the committee that this is her last meeting as the liaison. She has accepted
another position with the City. Kristen stated that she believes Brent Stoddard will be the
new liaison, starting July 1, 2014.
#4 – Boards & Commissions Liaison Training: Kristen trained 15 staff last week to be
effective liaisons to their board/commission. This was a successful training class, with
staff asking a lot of questions.
