Mark Manor, Board Member STAFF PRESENT: Jim Brown, Director Human Resources and Board Secretary Nancy Mangone, Assistant City Attorney Tim Pirtle, Deputy Fire Chief Vicki Moss, HR Administrator, Benefits Marcia Zientek, Human Resources Support Staff MEMBERS ABSENT: Mayor Jerry Weiers, Board Member, Chair Capt. Assistant, Attorney General's Office Call to Order Charles Erickson, Acting Chair, called to order the Local Fire Board meeting at 9:03 a.m. Review and Approval of the November 19,2014 Local Fire Board Meeting Minutes The minutes of the November 19, 2014 Local Fire Board meeting were reviewed. Capt. Mark Manor moved to accept the minutes as presented. City Manager Brenda S. Fischer seconded the motion. The Board voted and passed the motion unanimously. Distribution of the June 30, 2014 Annual Actuarial Valuation of Members for Glendale Fire Covered By the PSPRS Charles Erickson, Acting Chair, acknowledged that the Board members received, in their board books, a copy of the June 30, 2014 Annual Actuarial Valuation Report of Glendale Fire covered by the PSPRS. The purpose of the valuation is to measure the funding progress of the plan and to establish contribution rates for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2015. There was no discussion. Page 1 of 2 PSPRS Local Fire Board Meeting Minutes 1/28/15 Review and Approval of Application for Enrollment into the Deferred Retirement Option Plan ("D.R.O.P.")—Max Sine The Local Fire Board reviewed Max Sine's D.R.O.P. Enrollment Application. Max Sine, Fire Fighter, has 27.003 years of credited service. He has elected to participate in the D.R.O.P. on February 8, 2015. He must terminate employment with the City of Glendale Fire Department on or before February 8, 2020. Max Sine has been a member of the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System since February 8, 1988. The action requested of the Board is to approve the Application for Enrollment in D.R.O.P. Retirement submitted by Max Sine, Fire Fighter. Capt. Mark Manor motioned to approve the D.R.O.P. Enrollment Application submitted by Max Sine, Fire Fighter. City Manager Brenda S. Fischer seconded the motion. The Board voted and passed the motion unanimously. New Business There was no new business. Adjournment Charles Erickson, Acting Chair, asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting. Capt. Mark Manor moved to adjourn the PSPRS Fire Board meeting. City Manager Brenda S.
