PRESENT: Mayor Jerry P. Weiers,Vice Mayor Yvonne J. Knaack and Councilmembers Norma
S.Alvarez, Ian Hugh, Manuel D. Martinez, and Gary D. Sherwood
ABSENT: Councilmember Samuel U. Chavira
ALSO PRESENT: Brenda Fischer, City Manager;Julie Frisoni, Interim Assistant City
Manager; Michael Bailey, City Attorney; and Pamela Hanna, City Clerk
WORKSHOP SESSION
1. CALL TO ENTER INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION at 5:00pm
Vice Mayor Knaack moved and Councilmember Sherwood seconded to enter into Executive
Session.
The motion passed unanimously
EXECUTIVE SESSION
LEGAL MATTERS
A. The City Council will meet with the City Attorney for legal advice, discussion and
consultation regarding matters relating to the Independent Audit including City's position
in pending or contemplated litigation, including settlement discussions conducted in
order to avoid or resolve litigation and documents relating to such. (A.R.S. § 38-
431.03(A)(2)(3)(4))
The special workshop reconvened at 5:49 p.m. and the meeting was adjourned.
