GLENDALE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL WORKSHOP SESSION

PRESENT: Mayor Jerry P. Weiers, Vice Mayor Yvonne J. Knaack and Councilmembers Ian
Hugh, Manuel D. Martinez, and Gary D. Sherwood.
ABSENT: Councilmembers Norma S. Alvarez and Samuel U. Chavira
ALSO PRESENT: Richard Bowers, Acting City Manager; Horatio Skeete, Assistant City
Manager; Jamsheed Mehta, Acting Assistant City Manager and Nicholas DiPiazza, Acting City
Attorney
Vice Mayor Knaack moved and Councilmember Martinez seconded to enter into Executive
Session.
The motion passed unanimously
EXECUTIVE SESSION
1. LEGAL MATTERS- PROPERTY&CONTRACTS
A. Discussion and consultation with the City's attorneys and designated
representatives to consider its position and provide instruction regarding Glendale's
position in connection with agreements related to Cardinals training camp and
Westgate stadium parking, which are the subject of negotiations. (A.R.S. § 38-
431.03(A)(3)(4)(7))
B. Discussion and consultation with the City's attorneys and designated representatives
to consider its position and provide instruction regarding Glendale's position in
connection with agreements related to the management of the Arena, which are the
subj ect of negotiations. (A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3)(4)(7))

A. Various terms have expired on boardscommissions and other bodies. The City
Council will be discussing appointments involving the following boards,

The special workshop reconvened at 4:02 p.m. and the meeting was adjourned.
