Glendale Ave. Glendale, AZ MEMBERS PRESENT: Larry Clark, Citizen Board Member and Acting Chair Assistant City Manager Horatio Skeete, Board Member Det. Brandon Keefer, Board Member Lt. John Wolfe, Board Member STAFF PRESENT: Jim Brown, Interim Executive Director Human Resources and Board Secretary Nick DiPiazza, Chief Deputy City Attorney Marcia Zientek, Human Resources Support Staff MEMBERS ABSENT: Mayor Jerry Weiers, Board Member Call to Order Larry Clark, Acting Chair, called to order the Local Police Board meeting at 9:02 a.m. Review and Approval of the March 6,2013 Local Police Board Meeting Minutes The minutes of the March 6, 2013 Local Police Board meeting were reviewed. Det. Brandon Keefer moved to accept the minutes as presented. Lt. John Wolfe seconded the motion. The Board voted and passed the motion unanimously. Review and Approval of Application for Enrollment into the Deferred Retirement Option Plan ("D.R.O.P.")—Douglas Lee Gibbs The Local Police Board reviewed Douglas Lee Gibbs' D.R.O.P. Enrollment Application. Douglas E. Gibbs, Police Officer, has 20.639 years of credited service. He elected to participate in the D.R.O.P. on April 8, 2013. He chose to participate in the D.R.O.P. for a period of sixty (60) months. He has been a member of the Glendale Police Department since April 8, 1996. The action requested of the Board is to approve the Application for Enrollment in D.R.O.P. Retirement submitted by Douglas Lee Gibbs, Police Officer. Lt. John Wolfe moved to approve the D.R.O.P. Enrollment Application submitted by Douglas Lee Gibbs, Police Officer. Det. Brandon Keefer seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Page 1 of 2 PSPRS Local Police Board Meeting Minutes 4/24/13 Review and Approval of Application for Separation Refund from Public Safety Personnel Retirement System ("PSPRS")—Richard J. McLane The Local Police Board reviewed the Application for Separation Refund from the "PSPRS" for Richard J. McLane, Police Officer. Richard J. McLane certified that he has not been accepted for employment with any other Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) employer and has not previously received a refund of his accumulated contributions to the PSPRS. Human Resources certified that Richard J. McLane's last date of employment was April 4, 2013. Det. Brandon Keefer made a motion to approve the Application for Separation Refund from PSPRS submitted by Richard J. McLane, Police Officer. Lt. John Wolfe seconded the motion. The Board voted and passed the motion unanimously. New Business There was no new business. Adjournment Larry Clark, Acting Chair, asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting. Lt.
