Call to Order
Larry Clark, Acting Chair, called to order the Local Police Board meeting at 9:04 a.m.
Review and Approval of the November 16,2011 Local Police Board Meeting Minutes
The minutes of the November 16, 2011 Local Police Board meeting were reviewed. Det. Brandon Keefer
moved to accept the minutes as presented. Lt. John Wolfe seconded the motion. The Board voted and passed
the motion unanimously.
Review and Approval of Application for Enrollment into the Deferred Retirement Option Plan
("D.R.O.P.")—Gary V. Myers
The Local Police Board reviewed Gary V. Myers' D.R.O.P. Enrollment Application. Gary V. Myers, Police
Officer, has 26.515 years of credited service. He has elected to participate in the D.R.O.P. on January 20,
2012 for a period of 60 months. Gary V. Myers has been a member of the Glendale Police Department since
January 22, 1990. The action requested of the Board is to approve the Application for Enrollment in D.R.O.P.
Retirement submitted by Gary V. Myers, Police Officer.
Lt. John Wolfe moved to approve the D.R.O.P. Enrollment Application submitted by Gary V. Myers, Police
Officer. Det. Brandon Keefer seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

Review and Approval of Survivor's Benefits - Cindy Jones
The Local Police Board reviewed the Application for Survivor's Benefits for Cindy Jones, the widow of
Police Officer Bradley Ryan Jones, deceased, who was killed in the line of duty. Bradley Ryan Jones passed
away on October 29, 2011.
Lt. John Wolfe moved to approve the Survivor's Benefits Application submitted by Cindy Jones. Det.
Brandon Keefer seconded the motion. The Board voted and passed the motion unanimously.
New Business
A recommendation was made by Nick DiPiazza, Chief Deputy City Attorney, to schedule annual training for
both the Police and Fire Boards on the Open Meeting Law and Public Records Requests. Mr. DiPiazza
requested that this training be put as an agenda item at a time convenient for both boards.
There was no other new business.
Adjournment
Larry Clark, Acting Chair, asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting. Det. Brandon Keefer made a motion to
adjournthe meeting. Lt. John Wolfe seconded the motion. The Local Police Board meeting adjourned at 9:07
a.m.
