VI. Neighborhood Profile: Cortez Connection Neighborhood
The Commission on Neighborhoods toured the Cortez Connection Neighborhood. This
neighborhood is located on Cortez Street, from 51st Drive to 55th Avenue. The Commission
discussed how the registration meets the guidelines and if the size is appropriate for an
association, as well as if incorporating additional streets around Cholla Park could help in
building greater community in the area.
VII. Commission on Neighborhoods FY 2010-11 Work Plan Update
In October 2010, the Commission adopted its FY 2010-11 work plan. Due to time
constraints associated with the approaching sunset and inclement weather (rain), this item
was not discussed. (The commission will be exploring recommendations for next year's
work plan at the May meeting.)
VIII. Staff Updates and Commission Items of Interest
This item provides an opportunity for the Neighborhood Partnership staff to share
information with the commission on key activities over the past month; due to time
constraints, this item was not discussed. The Commissioners will peruse the Staff Report
and contact staff with any questions or concerns.

Respectfully Submitted,
