members volunteered to act as the CTOC representative on the CBAC). He said the City
Council's Government Committee is reviewing the request this week.
VII. BIKE RODEO MANUAL
Steve Hancock handed out copies of the draft Glendale Bike Rodeo Guide. He explained that the
City developed the guide so citizens requesting a bike rodeo could have a tool to guide them in
their role as rodeo volunteers. Steve said that one of the most difficult aspects of doing a bike
rodeo is having enough people to properly educate children about the lessons being taught at
individual stations within the rodeo. Too often, according to Steve, there are not enough
volunteers to give instructions, manipulate props, and evaluate the student's performance. Steve
stressed that the Guide given to members was draft and that any comments or corrections would
be welcome.
VIII. GLENDALE BIKE MAP 2ND DRAFT UPDATE
Steve Hancock updated the Committee on changes to an earlier draft of the Glendale Bike Map.
He noted that most of the changes were corrections or additions that members had suggested at the
June, 2005 meeting. Steve went through the changes on the current draft and told the committee
there would be at least one other chance for a final draft review before the map went to print.
IX. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
No items were brought forward.
