GLENDALE BIKE MAP DRAFT REVIEW Steve Hancock asked members if they had any corrections or suggested additions to the draft map that was sent to them for review. Steve noted that he had found a misalignment of the New River watercourse in north Glendale and incorrect street alignments in the area around Canyon Elementary School. Steve also said he noticed missing information on a number of "Biking Citizen Bicycle Advisory Committee Minutes June 6,2005 Page 2 Organizations" in the text area of the North Glendale map. Michael Wood pointed out that the bike route designation on 63rd Ave. needed to be extended south to Alice Ave. Ed Cure thought that the information on "Dust Storm Warning" could be eliminated. Many other members agreed with Ed. Other corrections pointed out by members were incorrect use of colon marks, incomplete ARS-28 citing (should be ARS-28-812), misuse of the word "practical" (should be "practicable"), and a sentence alignment issue. Changing the term "Mountain Biking"to "Trails and Paths"was also suggested as well as muting or deleting "Trek" from a background image, reducing the size of the graphic on "Bike on Bus,"and the need for a legend on both sides of the map. Steve said he would submit the corrections and additions to David Nelson, the mapmaker and bring back a second draft at the August meeting. VII. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS No items were brought forward. X.
