CITY OF GLENDALE
SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING, WORKSHOP,
AND EXECUTIVE SESSION
November 6, 2008
9:00 A.M.
PRESENT: Mayor Elaine M. Scruggs, Vice Mayor Manuel D. Martinez,
and Councilmembers Joyce V. Clark, Steven E. Frate, David
M. Goulet, Yvonne J. Knaack, and H. Phillip Lieberman
ALSO PRESENT: Ed Beasley, City Manager; Craig Tindall, City Attorney; and
Pamela Hanna, City Clerk
Mayor Scruggs called the meeting to order.
It was moved by Frate, and seconded by Clark to go into Executive Session.
The motion carried unanimously.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
1. LEGAL MATTERS —PROPERTY& CONTRACTS
A. Discussion and consultation with the City Attorney and City Manager to
receive an update, to consider its position and to provide instruction and
direction to the City Attorney and City Manager regarding Glendale's position
in connection with contracts, agreements and/or development agreements
related to public and private development in connection with a proposed
development project west of Loop 101 between Bethany Home Road and
Glendale Avenue, which is the subject of negotiations with Rightpath Limited
and USAB (A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(3)(4)(7))

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 11:10 A.M.
