Call to Order
Larry Clark, Acting Chair, called to order the Local Police Board meeting at 9:08 a.m.
Review and Approval of the January 27,2010 Local Police Board Meeting Minutes
The Minutes of the January 27, 2010 Local Police Board meeting were reviewed. Lt. John Wolfe moved to
accept the Minutes as presented. City Manager Ed Beasley seconded the motion. The Board voted and passed
the motion unanimously.
Application for Accidental Disability Retirement from the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System
("PSPRS")—Grant Eaton
Grant Eaton, a Police Officer with the City of Glendale, applied for Accidental Disability Retirement through
the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System ("PSPRS") on October 12, 2009. He has been a member of
the PSPRS since July 1, 1996. Mr. Eaton, who had requested to appear before the Board, brought an invited
guest, Justin Harris, his Union Representative.
Commencement of Executive Session
Larry Clark recessed the Open Session and convened into Executive Session to review and discuss the
Application for Accidental Disability Retirement.
The Board adjourned Executive Session and reconvened into Open Session to vote on the Application for
Accidental Disability Retirement.

Consider and Vote on the Application for Accidental Disability Retirement from the Public Safety
Personnel Retirement System—Grant Eaton
The Board adjourned Executive Session and reconvened in Open Session. Mr. Eaton along with his Union
Representative, Justin Harris, were invited to join the Open Session of the Board meeting. At that time, Mr.
Eaton was advised that the Board had voted to table his application until further information could be
obtained. Mr. Eaton thanked the Board and stated that he understood. Acting Chairman Larry Clark asked for
a motion to table Mr. Eaton's Application for Accidental Disability Retirement until a later date. Lt. John
Wolfe moved to table the application of Detective Grant Eaton for a medical retirement until additional
information is received. City Manager Ed Beasley seconded the motion. The Board voted and passed the
motion unanimously.
New Business
There was no new business.
Adjournment
Chairman Larry Clark asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting. Lt. John Wolfe made a motion to adjourn
the meeting. City Manager Ed Beasley seconded the motion. The Local Police Board meeting adjourned at
9:15 a.m.
