MEMBERS PRESENT: Chris Flippen, Chair Susan Jernigan, Vice Chair Pattie Johnston Madelin Page Yolanda Hernandez MEMBERS ABSENT: Rebecca Ontiveros Karen Mankoski Kim Toops Mary Jean Eggleston OTHERS PRESENT: Erik Strunk, Community Partnerships Director Gilbert Lopez, Revitalization Administrator Mona Francis-Spellman, Revitalization Supervisor Brian Lotto, Revitalization Coordinator I. Call to Order Chair Flippen called the meeting to order at 6:39 p.m. II. Business from the Floor/Public Comment None. III. Approval of Minutes Committee member Jernigan motioned to approve the March 25, 2009 minutes as written. Committee member Johnston made the second. The motion passed 5- 0. IV. Presentation on the proposed Amendment to the current FY 2008-2009 Annual Action Plan for an Additional CDBG Allocation and Homeless Prevention Allocation; Conduct Public Hearing to Gather Public Input and Comments Mr. Gilbert Lopez, Revitalization Administrator, provided a presentation on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 Substantial Amendment to the FY 2008-2009 Annual Action Plan involving available funding and possible eligible projects for the Community Development Block Grant-R (CDBG-R) funds and Homeless Prevention Fund (HPF). The floor was opened to the public for input and comments. There were no comments made. V. Status Report on Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) Mr. Lopez provided an update on the status of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). VI. Director Update Mr. Strunk gave an update on the stimulus funding and thanked the Committee for their time and dedication. VII. Staff Report Mr. Lopez gave an update on Habitat for Humanity and also an update on a meeting with the Federal Reserve Banks in San Francisco about the recent foreclosures in the country. VI.
