They have developed ways to serve as advocates to the citizens and visitors of Glendale. A new website has been developed by the commission, with the help from Lorraine Pino from our Tourism Office and Ginger and Leslie from our Marketing Department. This webpage (www.accessglendale.com) is a resource for people who have disabilities to use. It will provide information on what restaurants, hotels, stores, etc. that will be accessible for the disabled, whether you are in a wheelchair, blind, deaf, etc. There will be brochures available with the same information. The website should be finished in a few days and the brochures should be available before the Super Bowl. Kristen would like the public to know how this Commission is helping our community and use this as a recruitment piece. Kristen suggests that they see how this impacts our community and give recognition for the great partnership with the city departments and the Disability Commission. 3 — Presentation from Staff Liaison Kyle for JSAB: Kyle Mickel gave an update on the Judicial Selection Advisory Board. Kyle provided a list of three nominees that the Board of Governors have provided for the State Bar vacancy.
