GLENDALE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP
HELD ON NOVEMBER 13, 2006
2:00 P.M.
Present: Mayor Elaine M. Scruggs, Vice Mayor Thomas R. Eggleston, and
Councilmembers Joyce V. Clark, David M. Goulet, Manuel D.
Martinez and H. Phillip Lieberman
Also Present: Also present were Ed Beasley, City Manager; Pam Kavanaugh,
Assistant City Manager; Craig Tindall, City Attorney; and Pamela
Hanna, City Clerk
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Scruggs at 2:25 p.m.
1 . CALL FOR VOTE TO ENTER INTO AN EXECUTIVE SESSION
It was moved by Eggleston, and seconded by Frate, to enter into an
Executive Session. The motion carried unanimously.
Council reconvened the open Special Meeting at 4:59 p.m.
Mayor Scruggs called for a Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Glendale
for 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 in Room B3 of the City Council
Chambers, 5850 West Glendale Avenue, and to call to enter into an executive session
for the purpose of discussing a possible stadium and multi-purpose facility in the vicinity
of New River between Camelback and Glendale Avenues and ancillary development
that is the subject of negotiations pursuant to A.R.S. Sec. 38-431.03(A)(3)(4)(7). Mayor
Scruggs further called for a Special Meeting on November 15, 2006 at 9:30 to be held
in the Council Chambers to discuss and take action on a resolution regarding a
Memorandum of Understanding.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
