The City of Glendale has contracted with Maricopa County to provide polling places and will be on Maricopa County election ballot. SECTION 3. PRIMARY ELECTION DAY POLLING PLACE HOURS. The polls shall be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. SECTION 4. ELECTION OFFICIALS AND THEIR COMPENSATION. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to contract, for each Primary Election polling place, one mspctor, two judges, two to five clerks and four trouble-shooters; and an adequate number of early ballot processing inspectors and early ballot processing clerks at the compensation rates set by Maricopa County Elections Department. SECTION 5. PUBLISHING. That this resolution shall be published two (2) times in a newspaper of general circulation in Glendale not less than one week apart during the six (6) calendar weeks preceding twenty (20) days before the primary election. • -4 - PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona, this 27th day of June, 2006.
